Hi, where can i obtain the TDS disc, i dont have an account with connect.
Also looking through the threads on this it looks as if they stop working after a year, if so do the new discs start at the begining of the new year?
any advice appreciated,

Tds doesn`t run out I didn`t think but the last one I had didn`t work with Windows Vista. Does anyone know if the new one does?

TDS is compatable with Vista but has issues with Connections due to the way both applications handle database instructions, there is a workaround which I posted here a couple of months back.

I came up with a staggeringly simple and cost saving solution……. I stopped buying from Connect!

A belated thanks Dave for the speedy delivery of the TDS disc.
It is now up and running on two computers running xp & vista
with no probs…

My TDS run on Vista Home Basic seems to have an issue with Adobe reader, is there a workaround?

hotpnt, the TDS disc is available from most spares suppliers, even our own DC can get it for you if you ask nicely. 😉
As for spares suppliers it really is a matter of testing the water. Prices do vary between suppliers and some very large differences can arise for the same part, some being much cheaper from one supplier and yet that same company can be more expensive on other parts.
The two companies who sponsor forums at UKWG’s, Masterpart & Qualtex are both very decent people to deal with in my experience.
It can also depend on the volumes you require.
There is a fair bit of info, comment and discussion in this forum and the Trade Spares forums.

Please remember to uninstall any previous editions of TDS before installing the latest as they are complete discs and not just updates of information.
NOTE: TDS Offline 2008 is the last DVD that will be produced.Best Regards

Well I’ve recently obtained the latest TDS_offline UK 2008 Disk and, as with previous issues, it is brim packed with all one needs to know in order to service E/lux products. 😀
I’m somewhat surprised as well as dissappointed to learn that this is the last that will be produced? And I can only assume this information has come from a realiable source? That being the case I would like to thank Paul (fennyapps) for that information as well as giving my grateful thanks to Electrolux Distriparts for the many years of help you have given to the independent service tradesman.:)
We independents have always valued the wealth of help and guidance the TDS disk has (and does) provide. The direct result of which is that myself and very many of my colleagues and fellow tradesmen have promoted Electrolux products. Have fitted their genuine replacement spare parts and will continue to do so as long as this information is laid out before us in the way you have always strived to maintain.
