    got a customer rang says e8 code on d/washer. checked code it says read error rest and try again anyone know what that means?

    Alternator valve failure. Can be spurious error if part not fitted. No model, so no idea.

    its a dw1614 it will sometimes work once then this code comes on again

    Change the alternating valve, they are troublesome anyway and its bound to be the cause. 819130468
