That’s true, an oversight perhaps? 😕

With regard to Zanussi/AEG error codes they have a general link in each grouping. For example: all codes in the E10 group (E10 to E15) are associated with filling faults. All errors in the E20 group (E20 to E25) are draining faults. (E30 to E39) Safety level pressure switch faults. (E40 to E46) Door lock problems….and so on 😉

Yes E 20 is not a error code as such, its what the customer see’s. the actual error code will be E2* and you need to acces the test programme to read (and clear) it.

Customer was asked if filter had been checked before booking appointment.
Called on Weds, found customer out, rang him later in day,his wife had checked f ilter couple of days before fault, then washed rubber backed dog’s blanket had rechecked filter after booking call found it full of rubber backing!!!
    Again thanks for help

Hey Lurch, what even makes you think its a washer / dryer? None of the E20 error codes would point to this anyway as they are, as Martin suggested, all draining related codes.

I did mis-read it as a washer dryer in my error but maybe my memory is fading as I was sure not so long ago on a washer dryer I had the error E20 and the thermistor had gone – probably just me – sorry 🙁

Your memory is not playing tricks on you Lerch 🙂

In fact I’ve had a couple (so far) of Zanussi Washer/Dryers (WJS1265W’s in fact) where E20 came up on t/dry and in both cases the condenser ducting was bunged up with fluff thus affecting the NTC. 😉
