Even though I have power to the left side of the hob the power indicators
only flash as if their was no pot on the hob, while at the same time there is a clicking sound from below the glass. Any thoughs or idea’s would be welcome. Model No. DTI199XE1 HCH system, bought this 4 years ago but only fitted it last week.

    Almost certainly a goosed PCB.

It is VERY expensive to replace anything on these machines and, for most PCBs you can start thinking on £200+ just for the board. 🙁

    Hi K,
Ain’t that a bitch, guess I will work away on the right side until I have time to remove the PCB, if I find a fault Iwill post it here. Thanks for the reply.

    Hi

Are you sure you have wired it correctly ??

Check your electrical connections as if its not wired correctly then 1 side wont work.

    Hi Bryan
doubled checked the wiring and all is ok. Removed hob and opened up, internal wiring ok, also removed PCB did a visual with a magnifying glass no dry joints or obvious damage.

Hi I agree with Bryan, if links are incorrect you will get one side failing.
