    dipolmat ADP 8224 DISHWASHER

LOOKING AT FAULT CODE LIST THERE IS NOT A LOT OF DIPLOMAT INFO

THE ADP8224 MANUAL GIVES LIST OF CODES E1-E6 BUT THIS ONE IS SHOWING E2

THE MANUAL STATES THAT E2 IS “NOT USED ON THIS APPLIANCE”

    ANY IDEAS WHAT E2 IS

    THANKS

Check the metering tank to sump transfer hose. Normally blocked causing E2.

thanks for info sheet, which is a very good guide.

as this appliance is my own, I have this morning stripped it down completely. My wife is a regular user of descaler so I was sure that the problem was not due to blockages.

as I discovered all oultets, water matrix, sump valve etc are clean as a whistle.

up on running unit without case you can activate anti flood micro switch and it works fine.

I have checked pressure pipes and they appear ok

I have decreased inlet water pressure also

but still it fills/pumps out and then finally pumps matrix empty

    any other thoughts most welcome

You could be looking at a faulty pressure switch, circuit board, wash pump or water level switch among others then. Time to get the meter out and become intimate with your dishwasher I think.
One thing to look for is that the pressure switch hose is clear. Sometimes water gets into the hose and stops the switch activating normally.
