There is no rinse hold mentioned in the ISE10 book, can anyone tell me if the no spin option is selected, does it leave the washing in the rinse water or does it drain? Was put on the spot today when doing a delivery after bragging about knowing all about these machines!

So far as I know Mark there isn’t a rinse/hold on the 10. The only way there may be one is if it’s automatic on the delicate cycle, but I have one here so I will test it over the next couple of days for you and give a definitive answer.

TBH we’ve been asked about rinse/hold twice in two years and as you likely know, it often produces more hassle than the damn thing is worth.

No spin will produce the same result with marginally greater creasing pretty much although in all honesty most people would likely struggle to tell the difference between rinse/hold and simply no spin.

I have told my customers that the delayed start is a better option than rinse hold, allowing them to set the start time so that the wash finishes as they arrive home or get up in the morning. So far no complaints.

I used to like the old Brandt WFH range for that reason. The ones with the displays had real time clocks and you could set the time you want to finish and the machine sorted out the details of when to switch on.
