    Hi there!
    I have one of these fridges and over the last couple of days it has started to make quite a racket! It sounds like a motor type noise and stops when the door is open completely. If you close the door, the noise gets louder, or if you put weight on the front of the compartment where the salad tray goes in, it gets louder. The noise will eventually stop after a few minutes once the door is shut.

    Any suggestions????? 😕

    If it’s a “whirr/rasp” sort of noise, it’s the cooling fan underneath at the front. If it’s a more metallic/clattering noise, it’ll be the compressor at the back.

    Power off before sticking fingers in…

    Thanks for your reply! Is it just a case of cleaning it?
    By the description of the noise I would say it is the cooling fan.

    The fan can move on the shaft slightly, also the plastic framing can deform over time. Last one I saw needed the actual motor repositioning slightly to recover the clearance around the fan.
