It trips the 30mA RCD in the consumer unit. I’m having difficulty removing it. Once the single securing nut is removed, I can’t figure out how the element comes out? There is a gasket and (presumably) some sort of clamp plate inside the plastic housing… Any guidance gratefully received. If yes, there is a compressed rubber gasket behind the metal front plate. A deal of careful levering is about the only way to remove it. Power off, of course. Penguin45. I think I’ll wait until I have the replacement part to hand and use that as a guide to how the original comes out!
