Neff S5456X1GB/12 integrated dishwasher. FD 8109.
This machine has had the archetypal blocked fill metering system, sludged hose to sump and flooded base. The pump runs continuously – basically as soon as the machine is switched on it pumps. So I dismantle and thoroughly clean all the individual parts of the fill metering system and carefully refit it taking care to dry out the base. (float switch is at rest with no water underneath).
So I thought, PCB. Sure enough, there was a blown solder joint on one of the legs of a 6V relay, so I am feeling confident that all is well.
Not so – after careful soldering, the pump runs constantly: ie:- no different.
I am pretty sure it’s the PCB that’s frazzed – any other things to look for?
Thanks,
Steve.
