ParticipantHi can anyone please tell me what the difference is, on connects site there are two different modules listed for the Zanussi fs1255w one is preconfigured and about £40 more? I have ordered the cheaper one and think i may have made a cock up!
Thanks AllanApril 18, 2008 at 5:52 pm #249664boselecta

One is the pre-configured, the other you have to configure yourself using binary coding, can be quite trickey to do. Did a day course on coding these modules from blank at last place of work, I would advise getting the pre-configured board. i have the config codes if you are going to do it yourself.
what is the pnc?, its easier to do on machines that have an led display.April 18, 2008 at 7:07 pm #249665allan

Sorry to get your hopes up havn’t got his config code, too late model. you will need a pre-configured board as these blank ones reply on you having the code. try electrolux tech to get the code.
The code wont be on the top of a blank board.April 19, 2008 at 12:22 pm #249670allan

As Helo stated, code for new board will have to be copied off old one and new board then configured, theres a white sticker on old board with the code written on it.
Its not that easy to do if you haven’t done it before.April 19, 2008 at 1:02 pm #249672DentedPorsche

Can you program the EWM1000 boards? There are no instructions in the service manual for it (that I can see) and if I remember correctly there isn’t a code sticker on the old module either.
There’s no code on my TDS disc and there’s no code on Pro Corner either.
I’m interested in this one as I’ve always been given pre configured boards.Brian

132120226 or 1324017209 are listed as non configured boards for this machine.
97391479116607 is the configured board.
Electrolux now only supply the configured type, presume other suppliers still have old stocks of non configured boards. Not sure how to configure this board type but as far as i’m aware all new boards have a serial interface connection point (J7 on this board) & in future Service Force engineers will be able to reconfigure all boards using a laptop and SideKick software.
