    Can anyone help me through the minefield of finding the right heater and front stat for a Hotpoint CTD80P tumble dryer.

    Serial number 509020630

    Other number 95313560000

    The heater has two stats on it, five wires and plugs into a pcb.

    Replacement heater has two stats and a thermistor, part number C00145745, front THERMISTOR is C00113822. Bear in mind this is a thermistor and not a stat so if you have tested it you may think it is faulty when in fact it is OK. I have never yet had to change a front thermistor.

    Thanks for your reply, but this heater has only got 2 stats on it.
    The left one is a white spot TOC.
    Spares listings I have looked at all list several heaters hence my confusion.

    My post did say REPLACEMENT heater has two stats and a thermistor.

    Since first production this machine has had two stats plus thermistor, then it changed to one stat and thermistor and is now back to two stats plus thermistor.

    If you order that part it will come with all three and will fit.

    Thanks for your speedy response, I was unaware of the changes in the heater design,and thats what confused the issue.
