i have an indesit washer dryer and the machine continuously fills and pumps out water while the program dial constantly turns. as this is happening the door open indicator light flashes 3 times then pauses for a bit and flashes 3 times then pauses then flashes and so on.

can anyone help me with the error code if that is what the flashing light is or does anyone know the fault i have

    thanks in advance

f3 is usually down to the ntc fault.. that being said, commonly, the pcb doesnt sense it

the ntc is the sensor on the heater, dependant on variant, the ntc will be in the heater, or on the back of the tub, just above the heater

its wise to check for broken wires first (with plug out, of course)… the ntc is inexpensive ( last price i saw was under a tenner), but experience would sugest the pcb is ast fault, and with that, you’d need an eprom

it will be eiTHer This http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … ensor.html

    or

    this http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/Washing+ … 2FNTC.html

a quick look on the back of the drum will confirm which one it is

up to you if you want to try an ntc first, good luck

    hope this helps

its a programmed chip that plugs into the pcb, to tell it what it is

    a complete necessity

well looks like the sensor solved the problem but i am getting a little water leaking out from around the new sensor. is there any special sealant which can be used to cure this??

    cheers

i take it its on the back of the drum, not in the heater?
