There is no supply to the top rotor and low pressure at the lower rotor. I suspect the “distribution valve” (motor driven disc controlling flow on heater box). I took the rotor supports off and looked down into the pipes from the heater and one is shut off by the white disc. I have tried the machine several times but the disc does not seem to move at all.
Anyone else had this fault? Can the clock type motor be changed without replacing the whole heater assembly?
Heater box complete, Steve – 483257. The motor is the same as the Indesit W series selector switch motor, but Gegsy reckons the things are more prone to the gears jamming than the motor failing.
You’re going to have to demolish it to fit, so I’d go for the box and know that it’ll work.
