Greetings Sages. My 13 yr old smartdrive 701 finished a wash yesterday and now there’s nothing. It has power into it but no lights or sounds . Any clues? I tried searching the forum but couldnt find anything quite the same. Any help would be appreciated as the repair man is over a week away. Don

There are surface mounted fuses on the Motor Controller pcb. If they have blown, you need to find out why……

Thanks Penguin45, Yes ,inspection shows the fuse is blown. Now how do I determine what blew it?

2A QB fuse seems to be the one.

You need a test meter at the very least to find the fault. Faulty/leaking pumps and wiring to the motor chaffing through are all known causes. One poster had his board destroyed by a faulty water valve. Component failure on the pcb itself can blow the fuse. You’re going to have to get in there and track it down.

Last post moved here to keep it all nice and tidy.
