ParticipantHello,
My machine is just over 2 years old, and yesterday it just keeps on a washing! Basically it will not go to the rinse and spin stage. I let it wash then I have to turn it off, then move the dial to rinse and spin – which it will then do.
I have checked the filter at the front, there were a couple of buttons and coins there, cleared the coins etc and then the same problem.
Any help appreciatedBP

Hi
Probably just the heater has failed not a big problem, see spares@ for a diy part or repairs@ for a repairer near you.
Cheers

hello Nige,
Think you are right as on a cold wash its just completed the cycle, I have looked at the spare part bit on this board, do you know is it an easy job or is an engineer better?

In theory, simple – undo one nut and pull. It’s usually a right wrestling match, though.
THIS is the one that you want.
Power off first……….

hi penguin,
the element has arrived – do I have to remove the whole of the back which includes a large metal strip across the centre of the back and does that mean that the water pipe has to come off and do I need to removethe screws that hold the top?
Sorry 😳
