Bosch classic WTL6102GB/02

    The drive belt between the (motor shalf to pully wheel) has broken, but it looks a difficult job.. as it appears the motor has to come out,never change one before can any one advise me the best way to strip down.and the time involved approx. Cheers John

    Are you sure it’s not WTL6102GB/01? I’ve not done one but it looks like you get the cabinet front off and it’s then quite easy.

    Phidom, have corrected model Number cheers.
    The side panels come off, access to motor ect, the motor shaft passes into housing connecting fan blade …no easy access!!!

    Easy peasy.

    remove side panel and rear heater cover. Drop the front access flap. Undo nut on front fan.

    Drop main belt off (if not already off) remove tension spring etc that sits next to pump.

    Remove motor wiring, then pull the big plastic handle off of motor this is what holds the motor in place.

    Once that’s off just pull the motor backwards to give access to fitting belt.

    The motor must be in the correct position in order to refit the “handle”.

    Shouldn’t take more than half an hour to do 8)
