Those of a stout constitution will remember that this machine is hanging halfway through on the fill element of each rinse cycle. I have so far replaced the 3-way inlet valve, the analogic sensor and the 2-level water sensor to no avail.
Today a technician from Swift Appliance Services visited and said the only suggestion he could make was to plumb it to fill from the main, rather than the tank we currently use. He suspects it’s taking too long to fill on rinse and the mainboard logic is calling time.
There is something like a 15ft head of water and a *good* flow from the tank, but the suggestion is to rig up a temporary supply from the water main and see if that resolves the hanging. I’ll do it at the weekend.
In the meantime does anyone have experience of *modern* electronically controlled machines not liking to be fed from a tank in the loft?
If the change of supply fails to work, my technician pal says it’s a change of mainboard. How much is that going to be, please?
TIA.
