Participantjust got given dishwasher with model no.ahy8122, it come with a part in witch i was told was problem.( thermo limiter assy) changed that. but have noticed that the sump fills with water but does not empty at all.not allowing it to continue its wash.the float does its job so ive sank that down and then it carries on with its program.ive done as much research as i can on how dishwashers operate but now ive come to a dead end.many thnx brian and tess.

Are you telling us it doesn’t circulate the water? No circulation will trip the limiter – which can be manually re-set by pressing the red button.
Beyond that, I have no idea what you’re asking us.

where is the lil red button please as its not ciculating the water at all it,sorry to be so vague but i was hoping to get it sorted asap before i have to go back to work. many thnx

still cant find how the water is removed from the bottom tray of the unit where the wiring and pump unit is.also discovered its not creating enough vacum to trigger pressure switch. ive phoned a few local repaires shops but no one can get the parts. on this note shall i give up and declaire it dead????

ok and the verdict is 2days of tweaking testing and wet knees and elbows over and over again has resulted in kicking a huge dent in the side of it and going out and buying a new machine.we thought how nice it would be to a have a luxuary and even better if it was given to us, oh how wrong could we have been! well untill next time my friends although i havnt made any on here yet though. CYA !!!!! 😆 😆 😆
