ModeratorWent out to this morning, didn’t have my laptop with me so couldn’t run the diagnostics from the TDS disc.
I ran the machine through fill, wash, heat, drain & spin without any problems.
She says it sticks at 26 minutes with the machine totally dead.
Going to return to run diagnostics, any pointers before I do?

Hi Jim
I know you said you checked the heater, 🙂
I had one of these turned out to be a wire hanging of the heater, worth a second look 😉

Doubt it, she says she has to drain the water from the filter when it stops. She is getting on a bit and did seem a little confused though, a bit like me really. 😀

KeymasterJim,
I have had so problems from pump which could be stuck or couldn’t get rotating because warming…
Perhaps it can run when you run rinse program but when became warm from washing water it will fail to start turning…August 27, 2008 at 9:38 pm #260944iadom

A worthy suggestion Adrian, I will also give that a look at although to be truthful, the pump did run very quite and smooth, most failing pumps often sound noisy.

KeymasterCan you tell me what type of electronic (PCB) is there? because in EWM2000 case – perhaps it will help if you set again configuration code
but in all other cases (EWM1000/plus; EWM2000EVO…) -it can be programms fault and memory must be reprogramm it…. I have done lot of them also…

Customer has just told me that since my visit it has now done four washes perfectly. I did suspect all along that there was nothing wrong with the machine, she did seem rather vague. :rolls:
Will have to see if she phones back again. 😉

Sadly no, however it was my fault that I did not have my laptop with me at the time so was unable to run the diagnostics, it been a very hectic week, just back from two weeks holiday. I’m still getting back into my routine. 😉
