This one has really got me stumped….

The clockwise motor action is rough and the anticlock is non-existant it simply locks the drum in a stationary position. The machine displays the error ‘LE’ after a minute or two, this should be a ‘Lock Error’ (door lock or wiring).

Having checked the wiring from the lock to the pcb ok I replaced the door lock which didn’t sort it, so I bit the bullet and replaced the pcb itself but still no joy.

Anyone else come across this fault…and if so what was the solution?

    Hi

its the hall effect switch on the motor that causes this fault, complete motor required im afraid. LE is a motor locked error and nothing to do with the door lock that one is DE error code.
check the motor wiring as this will give the same error code but i have also had the pcb cause the problem.

    Good luck Bob.

    Hi Clive

LE is a load error caused by uneven loading of the machine.

Which one is it, guys? Motor lock or OOB? UE is supposed to be OOB according to the post.
