KeymasterHi Guys,
There’s good news and there’s bad news…
The bad news (I like that first) is that we’re out of ISE10’s now until mid November and there’s seemingly not a lot we can do about it. We are trying fervently to beg, borrow or steal some production time before that to allow restocking faster but it ain’t looking good as things stand.
Any stock left in the warehouse is pre-allocated and effectively sold.
The good news is that this has happened as we have exceeded sales targets on 10’s by a country mile. This is a totally unexpected volume increase, since we just got the numbers and, it turns out, we sold 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}+ over expected sales last month and over 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}+ the month before. Had the volumes remained stable there would have been no shortage, but it hasn’t.
People are actively going out and hunting down ISE10, that is perfectly clear now. Obviously many of them are hacked off with the rubbish that’s out there and the 10 year warranty appeals as well as the ethos.
We already have machines pre-ordered by customers prepared to wait until the next batch comes in and, in anticipation of that, we have ordered extra stock to compensate the increased demand.
That does however have an impact on the likes of the dishwasher which will now absolutely not see the light of day until at least Easter next year as we have no free production slots to have them made. 😕
Sorry, it’s a mixed bag of news.

Both 2’s and 5’s are not a problem ATM, we got more of a handle on them, especially the 5’s, after the last escapade with stock.
We also sorted the 10 dryers, they’re now well stocked for the season and we MAY have vented versions in November as well with the restock on wash.
It’s just the 10 washers that are affected. 🙁

When you say the dishwasher, do you mean the Asko produced dishwasher or the Vestel one?

KeymasterNo, I’ve been badgering to get the 10 DW for a while now, John’s sick of hearing me on about it. But we’ve had no free production spot that we could blag to get them made and, with the increases in wash and dry we’re unlikely to see them soon. 🙁

I have been told this morning that our ISE 10 washers will be shipped from Sweden today along with some vented versions of the ISE 10 tumble dryers (we will post more details shortly).
We should have them in about a week
To avoid another stock out due to all the back orders (as kept happening with the 5s) we have another container of 10 washers arriving mid December.
This will mean we finally caught up with the increased demand and will have enough stock of everything to last until the new year.
Thanks for your patience.
John

KeymasterSunday.
In the warehouse on Monday, deliveries start as of then basically.
David – not a happy bunny as he’s about to have a busy week. 😉

I’ve been dreading this. 😕
It turns out that rather than one container the haulage company attempted to deliver two this morning.
Both were wrong and were rejected.
The first of two correct containers is supposed to be on the water now although we are waiting on confirmation as of now.
All I can say is we did our bit right and we had a LOAD of onward deliveries organised that David worked over the weekend on in the office on the strength of the delivery happening. Much wasted time, much wasted money and a well p1$$ed off ISE.
Needless to say the haulier got more than a light ear bashing.
Sometimes you wonder how these companies survive what with being so desperately inept. I mean, we’re not perfect by any means, but for goodness sakes…
You will notice that the swearing in this post was held in check and that no parties were physically injured during the making of this post. I will not however be prepared to testify that mental scars have not been left. :rolls:

More than likely not Mark by the looks of it.
John has been on the phone all day yesterday trying to sort it out and, TBH, we don’t understand how it even happened as yet. But that’s not important at this point, putting it right is.
We’re hoping that some stops are pulled out and we’ve kicked up merry hell over it as well.
The only good news, although it’s a small consolation, is that if the invoicing doesn’t go until next week everyone will get the new lower VAT rate.
