Hi, yesterday washer stopped during cycle at spin/drain point (which was flashing) and ‘clean pump’ & ‘FP’ were constantly lit. I opened filter which was clear (gets cleaned at least once a month) and drained water then set washer on a spin cycle which worked fine. Then set for rinse/spin but stopped at same point so drained manually again & spin (OK). I assume the fault is the the pump & have threfore ordered one from your spares dept. but would be grateful if someone would confirm my diagnosis 😕
Also if anyone has any tips for easy removal of offending item I would be grateful.
    Many thanx

Yes, you are probably correct in your diagnosis but it would have been best to examine the pump first as it might only be an obstruction such as a rubber band fouling the impeller. On Whirlpool machines the pump is usually accessed by removing the cabinet front. Mains plug out, remove lower trim plinth, detach door seal from cabinet front, remove door switch screws, remove screws from lower edge of cabinet front and pull it toward you then down. With this panel off the rest will be self evident.
