Hi Guys,
above dishwasher works ok except that when it is finished it’s program it still has water in the bottom of the tub. The water is clean, pump does work, heater ok. Any Ideas, timer perhaps? 😕Alan

How long is the drain hose? There’s always going to be some water in the sump, the amount will depend on the length of the drain hose and its path to the sink or standpipe. Maybe an anti-syphon valve spliced into the hose at its highest point might help here. Or it might only be necessary to raise the hose a bit so water can get away.
Timer sounds like a total shot in the dark!

if the water is clean i doubt it will be a syphoning issue. Perhaps an inlet valve bypass???

It’s a single motor machine; it reverses to drain. I’d pull the motor and check the condition of the impellor stack. The one nearest the motor (I think….) is the drain one – I have been to so many with broken impellor vanes – just doesn’t shift enough water. You can buy the impellor stack as a spare. Be careful, the plastic drive shaft is not a spare.

Hi Guys,
looks like a valve problem. Customer phoned to say water was coming out of dishwasher but she hadn’t used it since I was there.
