ParticipantHelp please – I am geting hungrier !
I have an AEG Competence 5120B Typ 56 BBI 36 KO
The oven will not heqt neither is the light coming on. The clock is set fine and the top fan is blowing air out between the oven door and the fascia.
Everything was working fine until the missus reckons the kids messed with the buttons under the clock !?! It has not tripped the circuit breaker.
Any ideas what my problem might be ?

Does it display auto in the clock or an A? Oven will not come on if this is so.

Hi Simon, thanks for the fast reply. I have just the time displayed on the clock. e.g. 14.39
I have cut the power and reset the clock twice but still no joy.

does the clock have 4 buttons, 2 either side?
if so is there an illuminated segment against any of the buttons?

Hi David,
there are 6 buttons below the clock display :
A bell symbol, “¦—->¦” , “—->¦”, A hand symbol , “-” and “+”
The manual says that to set the clock you depress both right hand arrow buttons together and use “-” or “+” to adjust the clock. This I have done and the clock is keeping the correct time.

thanks for the enr no.
have you tried pressing the hand symbol?? (4th button)
if this makes no difference I suspect the problem may be electrical.
you say the cooling fan runs? is this coming on all settings or only the grill
I believe the cooling fan normally only runs on fan oven when it has reached a certain temperature?
I do not think it is clock problem.
sorry.david
