Participantbeen here today and uplifted into workshop I dont generally do dishwashers but this a love job.the machine as soon as you switch it on even with the door open the drain pump runs continuosly and thats it.no fault codes
any advice appreciated.I suspect module as machine starts with door open and the lock aint engaged.cheers chris

Hi!
Pump running with door open is due to the anti flood float in the bottom being triggered. You have a leak from somewhere, could be main motor seal, the rubber do-nut from sump to motor, outlet hose or pressure system possibly.

I thought it could be in fllod mode so i tipped it up and no water came out.

Anti flood device Rob, only the drain pump operates when door opened and still powered up. 😉

Good old gunge in the the pressure chamber can keep the red float in the “made” position and give the same symptom as flooded base.

have had quit a few where mice have taken a likeing to the styrene float causing bar to lift giving flood fault hope this helps

the float was stuck in the made position dont do much on dishwashers what threw me was running with the door open thanks all for replies.
