ParticipantPlease can someone send me a manual or instructions for our oven We have just moved into a new flat and we cant figure out what the symbols on the dials mean!
The model number is: Homark 02-700301 type B
It has a timer dial on the left hand side and another dial on the right hand side that has the following symbols:1. a fan with 2 triangles above
2. a fan with 3 filled in triangles above it
3. A fan with a circle round it
4. A bulbIt seems that all the triangle features activate the grill and no certain one for the oven setting…bit confused.
Thanks

Hi Mel
Fan with two triangles will be half width grill and fan, otherwise called hot air grilling.
Fan with three is full width grill and fan.
Hot air grilling as it`s known, is where the grill and fan operate alternately with the grill producing the heat and the fan distributing the heat. Result is evenly cooked and crisp food.
The fan with the cirlcle around it will be the normal cooking fan mode.

Thanks that explains a lot.
The grill works fine but seeing as the light doesnt come on and the oven setting only blows the fan and brings no heat should I assume the oven setting needs to be fixed. If so any idea what the problem may be?
Thanks

Hi mel
Sounds like the fan oven element needs replacing. Click the Find An Engineer in your post for assistance or if you are going to attempt a DIY repair ensure you unplug from the mains first.
