    got a wf540 code = motor triac, spins ok empty but when has a load in this code come up and will not spin.
    is it the motor or the board?

    I would think it’s the motor. The diagnostics are probably blaming the triac because the tacho readings don’t match those expected.

    Is the code F01 if so check the taco wires to the motor plug sometimes break off inside and cannot be seen until plug top taken off. If not usually is motor but also just as likely the pcb, sorry not really good news. 😕

    I had discounted the possibility of tacho problems, assuming dopper can tell the difference between an uncontrolled spin and one controlled by the electronics.
