well, i said it would happen, and it did
cant believe i walked into it…..
was working horwich today…. customers surname on job sheet, proline integrated dishwasher , not washing dishes very well
the mrs opened the door, greeted me…i wiped my feet….as i was walking through to the kitchen…she was ranting ‘my husbands a very clever man, you wont pull the wool over his eyes, hes not happy, he’ll be back in a minute’
anyway, opened the dishwasher door, and sure enough… there was some food remains in the bottom.. ‘how do i stop that’she asked… thinking of a suitable response, other than ‘dont put dishes in with food on them’ when i glanced over to the utilty room…..
there stood a samsung rs21….12v wires trailing from the bottom of the fridge door, taped to the floor, leading to a 12v power supply

i refitted the top spray arm, quick test, sign there im off
‘oh you must wait, mike will be back in a minute, he wants to talk to you..’
im sure the tyre marks are still on the road

Mike in (or from) Horwich who did the home brew mod to the Samsung. A bit of a horror story really.

Reading through his posts, it certainly should be.. God i’m glad i run my own business & ocassionally, just ocassionally, can use my right to tell people like him to stick their custom just as far up their arse as they can get it, & never call me again. IT FEELS SOOOOO GOOD. 😆

It’s almost uncanny how the dishwasher thread was revived, I’ll probably never understand how that happened although I suspect a tip off.
In any event, although his wife may think he’s oh so clever, he’s bought two pieces of rubbish thus far that we know of, one of which is held together with spit, baler twine, a prayer and a 12V battery. The other is just as likely to go up in flames at some point or die a death with a display befitting the best a Chinese firework factory has to offer.
It is however highly entertaining and will be more so when Helo gets called back to try to improve the best China has to offer so that it becomes “acceptable”! 😆
