ParticipantThe dishwasher fills but when it should start washing the PCB beeps and the dishwasher drains. Is there an overfill fault causing the pump to operate? I have tried a new PCB to no avail

Open the door just when the pump kicks in to see how much water you have in. Is there water in the base causing anti-flood to start??

If it is overfilling, what could be the cause,is there a blockage and if so where? Thanks

Blockage could be in metering tank or pressure switch failure / water in pipe if switch has dropped from correct position.

It’s a Whirlpool machine. One beep then abort is usually NTC failure.

Pressure switch is in the sump on the right. Remove the filter and you will see a black circular “grid” shaped item. Before you condemn it, clean it thoroughly with a toothbrush. They often get gunked up and malfunction.
It is accessed from underneath and is a twist fit in the sump.HTH,
Steve.
