    Hi,

My Bosch Classixx 1200 fills with water from the cold water feed on all cycles but then stops and does nothing further apart from the sound of a click at about 40 second intervals coming from the control switch. Drain cycle works, but spin and rinse do not.

The details on the label inside the front loading door reads:

    E-Nr WFL2462GB/12 FD 8210 606995.

Any ideas as to the problem?

    Thanks

    Mark.

Clicking will be the pcb turning the motor on and off. It’s a carbon brush motor, the carbons will almost certainly be worn out. Article HERE. Brushes to fit your motor are HERE.

Plug and motor out to fit.

    Just worked it out…………..

1: Tilt machine to access underneath of machine.
2: Remove earth cable and live connections from motor.
3: Stand machine upright and remove rear panel at back of machine by undoing screw at bottom of panel.
4: Remove drive belt from motor via removed rear panel.
5: Remove 2 retaining bolts holding motor in place via rear panel.
6: Pull motor towards rear panel and motor will fall out of place.
7: Remove 4 long screws holding motor together.
8: Remove Carbon Brushes and replace.
    9: Assemble in reverse.

    Regards

Test meter – circuit across the armature should read 5/6 ohms.

    Thks for coming back.
Armature reading was as you suggested at 5.8 ohms.

    Anything else you can suggest?
    thks
