    Why would the safety stat pop on one of these/filters all clean m

    all dryers work on one of two systems

    you either blow the air into the dryer or blow it out

    i think the miele blows it out causing a vacuum in the drum that suck the air in across the elements. in this case if the front or rear seals let air in it does not go through elements and blows trips

    is there a non gen stat or does anyone know the temp setting the cost with electrue is over the top at £13 m

    Have had fan impeller full of fluff & rubbish cause poor air flow on these

    130 stat.. if is is the yellow top one… 140 if its the white

    i presume you mean the stat in the element box? has been known to be caused when the drum is stationary and the element remains on and overheats. in some cases even the pcb had to be changed to an updated version that shuts the heater off during the drum reversal.
