ParticipantHi Folks
M/c about 10 years old, orig AGE type (not Zan).
Went to this and dispenser hose leaking where it fits to dispenser – have order new hose and got to go back and fit it but looked a bit of a pig to fit as no room to get hands in.
Looks like the hose lips into both dispenser and tub – no clips just looks like a retaining ring that pushes into dispenser end to keep hose secure.
Is there an easy way to fit this – looks like dispenser out job but not sure?which end of hose is best to fit last?
Any help/guidence appreciated..
Thanks
Mick

not a lot of room but usually on old aeg machines the front comes off easily giving access from both sides

Once you remove the control panel fascia and front cabinet panel access from front ain’t too bad. 😉

Thanks for the replies guys – not had to have facia or front panel off on these models before (to be honest not had to do many jobs on these models at all).
Presume facia and front panel straight forward then – no hidden screws or tabs then ? 😉
Thanks

Very straightforward. Removed dispenser drawer and attaching screws behind, two screws on l/h/side then lift away fascia. The rest is quite obvious….. 🙂

Done today
Removed Facia and rear facia panel – found easier to remove top of dispenser and place to one side as goose sugested. Once that is off you can access the insert that keeps the hose in the dispenser (which I found a pain to get out) remove the bottom half of dispenser which then allows easy access to the clip that holds the hose onto the tub.
Fitting the new hose it was then easy – just reverse proceedure.
Did remove the front panel as well but think it may have been possible to do without it’s removal or the facia thinking about it.
The most compicated dispenser hose I have ever fitted (took about an hour) but not to bad if I had to do again using the above method.
Thanks for he help and suggestions
Mick
