This brilliant dryer has 2 heat settings, only one is working.I have checked the switch which is working fine.I suspect it is probably an element that has gone.I would appreciate any advise also can you tell me that if it is the element is it easy to fit.
    THANKS

    You’ll need one of THESE.

It’s a screwdriver job – remove the back panel to access. Make a note of exactly where all wires go, ‘cos we can’t help you if you get it wrong……

    Power off first.

Thank you sir,,are you saying that there are 2 elements, I have just spoken to my son , he tells me it works on the high setting.
I read your other information regarding the reset button but he tells me it doesn’t move at all when he presses it.
    cheers

The link shows a double element. The low heat one is permanently on, which is why it has failed and the high heat one still works.

The red button will only click if there is an overheat, which will knock out all heat by breaking the neutral circuit.
