iv just been to a glass fronted sandwhich chiller. it got regassed by someone else. the problem is the compressor is now very noisy. ive checked the refrigerant levels and there ok. is there a chance that it hasnt got enough oil in the compressor? can anyone help.

Cant see how it’s lost oil, even if it had a gas leak previously, probaly just a noisy or nackered comp. 😯

    What’s
the compressor no and back pressure.
    Presume it’s on 134a
Could be non condenseables causing the problem, you can’t be sure of what else (air/moisture etc) went in along with the refrigerant when rechraged sounds like you would have to take out the current refrigerant, pull a fresh vacuum so you know the system is ok and then recharge with refrigerant as marked on the plate.
