    my machine has stopped workin it wont run at all i have changed the brushes on the motor and i have tried the pump thro an external supply and turns ok

    after reading thro the forum i have seen that the door interlock may be faulty

    is there a way of testing this before i buy another the park was warm when i removed it

    thanks for any info in advance

    Obvious question – does the door actually lock? If it does, the lock is not the problem.

    These machine perform a “self check” on start up. If the motor or the pump specifically are out of circuit, it won’t go. Motor brushes is the common one quoted on these forums, but wiring issues are common. Pump wires break at the connector block and motor wires break in the support across the front of the tub and occasionally in the motor plug.

    i refitted the switch and bridged the middle and end wire on the multi plug via two spades and it started ?

    Greased lightning, usually. Dave on spares@ is extremely efficient. He’s also bigger than me, so I have to say that. If you order now, it’ll be despatched on Monday, so delivery allowing, you’ll be working properly by mid-week.
