Hi all,
Can anyone help me please with a problem i have with an American side by side fridge.
My 5 year old (S20B RWW20-A/G), Model no (8586 152 15010), fridge/freezer has stopped working,
Everything defrosted and i can hear that the compressor is not functioning, although the fans, module lights, bells & whistles, seem to be ok etc.
I’ve put this down to a switch on the printed circuit board at the bottom/back right hand side in a white plastic case, the reason is a couple of times i gently tapped the micro switches and the compressor cut in now and again, there are 3 black switches and one red, and i think i’ts the red cased one that has the fault.
Any idea of the price of a new board, or is there a cheaper alternative?

PS, The board has a label with these numbers on (SPEA OK CU800000 BH)

Just tried changing the end capacitors around like suggested on a similar thread, but it’s a no go!! 😥

Tried plugging it in again and the freezer display reported C/F, can anyone tell me what this indicates please?

Hi Jeff,
The error is telling you that there is a communication error between the main and interface board, the recommendation is to replace the main board.
