I have twice replaced the thermostats within 3days, have cleaned all usual parts, rear fan turning ok, filters clean, no obvious cause, can anyone please advise.

Is the customer opening the door before the end of the cycle therefore missing out the 10 min cooling period?

If everything checks it could be the dryness module not switching the heater off when it reverses causing the stats to trip.

Got to be worth putting a capacitor in. The cap may working when tested but when they are loosing charge, getting faulty with a wet load in they can just just hum casing the stat to trip out.

Switch the selector knob on, if the heat light is lit before you press the start button then the module is faulty, or set it on and wait untli it does the short reverse (anti clockwise) tumble. If the light does not go out then its the module.

The module is quite expensive and sadly EMW/QER do not repair these. Not heard of anyone who has successfully replaced a heater relay on one of these boards yet either. According to Tony at EMW the processor is usually corrupted when the relay fails. 😥
