    Bosch SRS5612GB/08 slimline dishwasher. FD8110.

    This dishwasher is a headache…… 🙁
The original fault was the PCB unit blown around the heater relay. A new PCB (489014) is fitted and coded and all seems well. Only other problem was a scale blockage in the fill matrix; cleared with descaler.
The customer is now reporting the ‘auto 55 / 65’ cycle is taking 2 1/2 hours to complete and the delay timer doesn’t work at all. The machine does, however, complete the cycle and the crocks are perfectly clean.
The Bosch invoice shows that the original part number for this PCB was 483029 and it has been substituted for 489014 – I presume they are identical in function.
The PCB was coded on installation as per the enclosed leaflet. The only other thing I can think of is maybe the PCB has defaulted to its original settings and therefore the buttons on the fascia don’t correspond to the correct PCB switches. Trouble is, the coding sheet went in the bin……. 😥
Any help on this would be appreciated and / or a coding sheet for this PCB would be fantastic.

    Thanks,

    Steve.

Scale blockage in fill matrix doesn’t sound good so presumably they don’t put salt in the machine? Heater must be scaled up and likely as not the turbidity sensor can’t see in the dark as a result. 🙁

But the delay timer not working smacks of not being coded correctly I’m afraid. 😥 Did you set the module up free of the fascia mount or whilst it was in position? If set up correctly it wouldn’t default to its original factory settings so no worries there. To be sure best get BSH to fax you a copy of the coding sheet I reckon. 😉
