    Neff Induction Hob T4243XO/03

Does any one know if the cooling fan should operate as soon as the hob is turned on?

It is located above a draw so no appliances below; any one know what the ventilation clearance on the front grill should be customer says he can only just get his fingers between hob and worktop?

This hob only works on the right hand side, when you use just the left with one pan on either cuts out after 2 seconds.

Sounds like the main PCB but any suggestions?

    Re: Neff Induction Hob

Bsh had a lot of problems with Pcbs failing but it seemed to be due to inadequate ventilation. so if the customer does go for a repair,” very expensive”, make sure the cut out is adequate.
i f customer has lost the fitting instructions then if I knew the age i may still have the Neff catalog with specifications ect. therefore FD number may be required,

Only 18 mths old, not sure of the fd number but i would have thought most inductions would have the same spec for installation?

c/x has said does not mention the front vent only the overall cut out and if fitted above another appliance, it should say more surley, especially if the worktop is over 2 inches thick as this would mean the hob vent itself would be blowing straight into the frame of the worktop not allowing adaquate exhaust venting?

    Go to http://www.neff.co.uk/cpimages/734726.pdf
The cut out is 490 x560.
This should have came with a 2 year warranty which is void if not fitted to spec.
    what is c/x?
