Hi folks,
Probably one for the Hotpoint boys this.
My neighbours asked me to look at a 3 year old WMA series which needed bearings and a couple of other issues, so I advised them to go down the Hotpoint 5 year warranty route as would be cheaper( and easier for me).
They contacted Hotpoint, but were told it could only be done under warranty if an insurance type scheme was taken out for about £180 or so.
Is this correct? What happened to the “just pay the labour, the parts are guaranteed for 5 years”?.
Thanks in anticipation,
Regards, Mike
