We are going to an integrated Ariston LI62UK dishwasher which is not heating, and showing an error code of 4th light (soak image) flashing. Filling to level, emptying and washing is all OK. It runs for about an hour before it stops (cold) and the error code shows.

Someone else (the customer) took it out, took the panels off, tipped it about a bit (?) and it then worked (heated OK) for a week, then stopped heating again, which is slightly puzzling. We thought it might be an underfilling problem, but it is filling OK. Could be dry joint on heater relay?

Any suggestions, and what is that error code?

    Thanx guys.

    Error codes thread 😉

Meggar the heater for resistance and insulation, if it checks out it will be the PCB.

If its the PCB, is it likely to be repairable – like the older Bosch PCBs and some others, where the heater relay pin has gone o/c on the board?

Doubt it, never actually tried on one of these. most Indesit D/W modules are quite cheap, sadly this isn’t one of them. 😥

    Thanks.
I’ll post our findings after the visit!

It seems all we get at present is integrated D/Ws and Bosch carbon brushes! What happened to the good old days of door boots, leaky pumps and Hpt/Hoover brushes??!!

We did have a Miele D/W the other day – Pcb gone, new PCB was around 520 quid! What planet do Miele live on?
