Anyone still repair small appliances ie: mixers, toasters irons. kettles etc (if economically viable) :rolls:
We have a small workshop and still repair many items!!!!!
I find it quite a welcome break from fixing large white goods 😆

The trouble with vacs and small appliances is that after labour they are not viable to repair, unless you are happy doing a job for less than £50 profit.

Good money if you have a shop and you can get folks to drop in Dualit, Sebo etc.

Specialist, yes. But also a nice little niche.

I fixed a Toshiba semi-professional steam ironing press a couple of times for a regular customer. You need at least three hands and infinite patience. Time I’d finished I was ready to throw it at the wall! I wouldn’t ever bother again!
