Anyone still repair small appliances ie: mixers, toasters irons. kettles etc (if economically viable) :rolls:
We have a small workshop and still repair many items!!!!!
I find it quite a welcome break from fixing large white goods 😆
The trouble with vacs and small appliances is that after labour they are not viable to repair, unless you are happy doing a job for less than £50 profit.

repaired a set of ghd hair straighteners this week lady dropped in shop.Cable cost £9 quoted £29 5 min job would do a few more of those.also done a siemens wall heater which a guy dropped in the shop parts pricey but £30 lab charge and he was happy to have it fixed.
I fixed a Toshiba semi-professional steam ironing press a couple of times for a regular customer. You need at least three hands and infinite patience. Time I’d finished I was ready to throw it at the wall! I wouldn’t ever bother again!
