My dishwasher is 5 years old now and was setting off the anti flood switch, I have stripped it all down and on the right hand side at the bottom there are two clear pipes that run into a chamber with clean water in it. The pipes both have black o rings on them and one of them is leaking. Can this be repaired easily or what would the rough cost of this be?

I have photos, just not sure how to post them.

A strip and thorough clean will usually solve this problem. Re-assembly with a smear of silicoln sealant will help as well.

Thanks for the advice, i ended up striping it all down and putting a bit of PTFE
tape around the washer to seal it abit tighter. This appears to have worked but I have ordered a new seal from Smeg which is due in about a week.

Not bad considering some places wanted £80+
