    Hi, Hope someone can help. I have a Whirlpool ADP 5966 dishwasher and the fault code F8 has suddenly appeared. Has anyone got any suggestions please.

    F8 usually signifes water level sensor failure – or linked symptoms

    Many thanks for the info – is it easy to replace the sensor? – what is involved?

    On the side of the machine you will have a water chamber with a flow meter
    switch off machine first
    take lid off then the side not sure if left or right, you may have a water softener adjuster on the side, if so thats the side you need to remove
    there will be a large clear plastic chamber , check for black dirty build up or similar, if so take out & clean. refit and it should be ok after
