I was at a Samsung SRS2028CVW today the fault was not cooling in the freezer, when i removed the evaporator cover the evaporator was perfect even frost over it, however the evaporator fan was not running i tested it and it seemd to test okay, i checked for a supply to the plug but picked up nothing, i assume it must be the pcb, i’m not sure if the fan should run when the compressor kicks in can any body help, thanks jj

the fan runs when the door is closed so if you tested it with the door switch open it would have no supply.
