One approach is to order 2 when you need 1 but only for common makes and only if the price seems OK. I usually do this if I don’t have the correct belt, hinge, handle, pump, interlock, carbons etc. You will get bombarded with special offer leaflets by the suppliers and these can be useful if you need to build up your order value to get free delivery. Often the discounted parts are popular lines but you do need to establish which makes are popular in your area. For example, I often see questions about Samsung appliances but I’ve never seen one round here.
