There is an E3 error coming up (heating fault code i believe), appliance is not heating. The non resetable 90 degree limiter has gone. This is the second time it has happened, appears to run ok for a bit then go. Fitted both 70 degree and 90 degree limiters as a kit, pressure system is clear, pressure switch tests ok, and the element is not touching too close where the limiter is mounted in the base of the tank.
Any suggestions to the cause of this would be great, or if there is a repair solution for ‘common failure/fault’ on this appliance.
    Thanks.

Water level control issues are rife on these machines. It’s Chinese and it’s a bad copy of an elderly, poor quality Indesit appliance. You can repair it and make it work (If you want to – I wouldn’t spend money on one, myself.), but you can’t make it better.

If you think you have to keep it, there are a few does and don’ts.

1/ Do not use multifunction tablets in the machine. Use powder or a low-froth detergent like Fairy Bursts and separate salt and rinse aid.
2/ Once the machine is running, under no circumstances open the door – the water level control will go haywire.
3/ Start saving for a better appliance – it will go wrong again, probably just after Christmas Dinner.

    Sorry, it’s junk.
