ParticipantNeff T1872NO/01 ceramic hob. FD 8307.
This hob uses the touch sensitive control module below the glass. Plates check out OK, but 2 do not function. Module shows no signs of burning and the wiring is intact. I am pretty sure it’s the module ATM, but just looked up the price…… 😯 😯 £243 from BSH.
Moral support required!! 😉

Hi Steve, has it got a seperate filter card for the mains supply, I had a Neff induction hob with R/H side not working and it was the filter card not the touch control faulty

Thanks, Jonah. Checked the parts list and a filter card is not listed. To be honest, the hob is very basic internally; there are the hotplates, the wiring, the terminal block and the module control. That’s about it.
Is the filter card in the terminal block housing or in the module or is it separately mounted? As I say, it’s not on the parts list……. 😕Cheers,
Steve.

I reckon it has to be touch control if a filter card is not listed, TBH they are normally only on induction hobs not normal ceramics, BSH parts are really expensive got the same problem with a built in microwave gonna cost about £350 to repair it 😯

thanks for the reply, just as i thought whoever installed it has not left access to the underside, the hotplate required is listed at £170 so that should be enough to put them off.
