def amotor fault ? But i had same type off fault turned out to be a broken wire that goes to the motor plug wires it had broken but still was hanging on by the plastic covering Good hunting Regards larry @dal

Motors from Miele carry a 10 year gaurantee, but Miele must fit em!! :rolls:

I think you will find only motors with 10 year g/tee are the brushless type
